The successful candidate will support day-to-day pilot plant operations and contribute to process troubleshooting, optimization, and scale-up activities, working closely with Technical Scientists, project leaders, and engineers to translate laboratory developments into pilot-scale processes.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to build technical expertise in chemical process development, pilot plant operations, and manufacturing scale-up within a collaborative and innovation-driven R&D environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Support R&D Scientists and project teams in executing R&D and product development programs through synthesis experiments, DOE studies, process monitoring, and data collection to enable process development and scale-up.
  • Operate laboratory and pilot-scale equipment in compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards, while maintaining and continuously improving SOPs, work instructions, and ISO-compliant documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of process conditions, operating parameters, observations, and experimental results, and prepare technical reports and documentation as required.
  • Assist in process development, scale-up, and technology transfer from laboratory through pilot plant to manufacturing, including experimental execution, data analysis, troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and process optimization.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot pilot plant equipment, including commissioning, preventive maintenance, and changeovers, while supporting technology development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage raw material, consumable, and finished product inventories to ensure operational readiness and uninterrupted project execution.
  • Support material packaging, labelling, logistics, and sample shipment activities in coordination with R&D, Quality, and Operations teams.
  • Maintain 5S standards, housekeeping, and safe work practices while demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.

Who are You?
