Who are we looking for?
This role is responsible for performing laboratory procedures for testing in process and finished products from manufacturing, raw material samples prior to use in manufacturing, and customer plating solutions. The preferred candidate will be able to step into a dynamic work environment and will be a true team player who can flex and enjoys working in a number of different areas and with various instruments.
What will you be doing?
- Perform and support CVS analysis for electrochemical measurements, including instrument operation, electrode preparation and maintenance, method execution, data evaluation, and troubleshooting of atypical results.
- Maintain accurate and complete analytical records in accordance with SOPs, data integrity requirements, and applicable quality standards.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Support method optimization, validation/verification, instrument qualification, and continuous improvement activities as required.
- Investigate out-of-specification, atypical, and unexpected analytical results, using sound analytical and electrochemical principles to identify potential laboratory or process-related causes.
- Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to troubleshoot analytical challenges
- Stores hazardous materials in proper locations and dispose of hazardous waste properly.
- Maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, including routine checks, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting, to ensure reliable laboratory performance
- Participate in cross-training on additional analytical instruments and laboratory techniques as required to support laboratory flexibility, coverage, and operational needs.
- Coordinates with MSA team to adhere to requirements for MSA studies including Gage R&R, Accuracy, Linearity, Bias as well as matching and correlation studies
- Uses and promotes the Six Sigma methodology and emphasizes 5-S.
- Attend required HSE training including Hazardous Waste Management, emergency response, and Hazard Communication, and demonstrate an acceptable level of understanding of topics.
- Operate equipment and follow procedures in accordance with IATF16949, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards
- Follows all safety procedures including general site safety rules and Chemical Hygiene Plan.
- Maintains 5S housekeeping standards in lab work areas
Who are You?
- Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry or related field and at least 2 years of strong laboratory experience
- Proficient in bench chemistry basics and performing manual titrations and liquid-liquid extractions.
- Highly preferred - previous experience with CVS and electrochemical analytical techniques, including understanding of electrochemical principles , electrode behaviout cvs measuremnt and control parameters
- Hands-on experience with liquid chromatography (HPLC), including basic method execution, troubleshooting, and interpretation of chromatographic results.
- Instrumental analysis: Knowledge and experience with analytical techniques including gravimetric analysis, TOC, viscosity, pH, and UV/Vis spectrophotometry

The typical base salary range for this position is between $71,822.00 to $107,732.00
