Who are we looking for?
The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes, adherence to quality and safety standards, and achievement of production targets. This role plays a key part in team leadership, process improvement, and maintaining a productive and safe work environment.
What will you be doing?
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output goals.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Monitor workflow, identify inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance skill levels and performance.
- Maintain accurate production and labor records, reports, and documentation.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve equipment or process issues.
- Enforce company policies, disciplinary procedures, and safety regulations.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving.
- Participate in regular audits, production meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
- Oversee and manage administrative functions, including the creation and tracking of work orders, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating material requisitions to ensure seamless production workflows and adherence to operational schedules.
Who are You?
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven track record (3+ years) of effectively supervising and motivating teams ensuring optimal performance, adherence to safety standards, and achievement of production goals.
- Strong knowledge of production machinery, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with JDE or production management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices, including value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction techniques, to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives through the use of Management Operating Systems (MOS), fostering a culture of ongoing process optimization and performance excellence.

The typical base salary range for this position is between $69,561.00 to $104,341.00
