FILM & SMART SURFACE SOLUTIONS (F&SSS)

We are Film & Smart Surface Solutions (F&SSS) and currently active in more than 50 countries. Our main production location is in the UK, with plans in place to realise a second production location in Asia. Our R&D and Technical centres are already in all three territories, Americas, Asia and Europe.

 

Our target for the F&SSS division is to become the market leader in the in-mold electronics space for the automotive industry.  It capitalizes on emerging trends in human-machine interfaces, displays and in-mold electronics. The division combines our extensive offering of speciality films for the industrial and automotive industries with our developing portfolio of flexible and formable conductive and non-conductive inks.  The combination of these products with our in-depth materials and process expertise enables our customers to create formed, structurally rigid three dimensional automotive controls and displays that are at the forefront of modern cockpit aesthetics and functionality. Job Purpose

To manage the EMEA Dealer and Distribution channel partners. To ensure that they represent MAES in the market efficiently and effectively.

 

Work with the Sales Director to align the Distribution channel strategy with the sales strategy. This includes understanding the sales targets, product demands, and market trends to develop channel plans that support sales goals. Regular communication and collaboration with the Sales Director will be essential to ensure a cohesive approach.

 

To Identify, Manage, Negotiate, Train and to Listen to Dealer and Distribution Channel partners to ensure that we maximise sales of our materials in the Markets where our Partners represent us.

To review and evaluate dealer performance and identify and market or product opportunities to increase revenue

Job Responsibilities

To work collaboratively with EMEA Sales Team to identify if any direct Customers should be transferred to Dealers and Distributors and whether any Customers should revert from Dealer Distribution to direct supply.

 

Develop Agreements with Channel partners as required by EMEA Sales Leadership.

 

Manage EMEA Dealer and Distribution partners to ensure smooth flow of Orders, Market Input and new enquiries. Communicate any Quality or Distribution issues, activities or limitations relating to supply from Wantage.

 

Represent EMEA in negotiations with partners in respect of Commercial Items including, price, product, supply terms, packaging, sheet sizes etc. Support the Quality, logistics and Technical Team to communicate with business Partners as required.

 

Coordinate and Support where appropriate Product training with Partners on existing and new products.

 

Develop and support marketing collateral as required by EMEA Sales and Product leadership.

 

Provide VOC and NPI ideas from our Partners to Product Management.

 

Update and maintain Atlas and all other systems required by EMEA Sales Leadership. Including Sales forecasting and budgeting processes.

 

Develop a Market and regional Plan for Partner Development in EMEA. In due course develop a recognition and reward process for partners in the Region.

 

Where existing Dealers are changed or new ones added ensure that there is a smooth handover and management of the process

Requirements & Qualifications

Must have a UK Driving licence and be able to drive in Europe

 

Fluency in at least two European languages as well as English

Skills

Ability to read, analyse, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

 

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.  Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis

Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.  Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases.  Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables

This role has a wide Geographic footprint  role and the holder must be able to work in many different cultures. It is important for the job holder to be able to build relationships and earn the trust and respect of their colleagues and customers

Education

Bachelors Degree in Relevant industry
