Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a commercially minded, technically curious Marketing Product Specialist who can bridge the gap between market needs and product capabilities. You will support a global chemical product portfolio, work closely with Sales, R&D, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams, and help drive market adoption of innovative chemical solutions across multiple regions and sectors.

What will you be doing?

Product & Market Strategy

  • Support development and execution of product strategies and marketing plans across global markets.
  • Analyse market trends, competitive landscapes, customer feedback, and industry developments to guide portfolio positioning.
  • Contribute to product lifecycle management, including launches, enhancements, phase-outs, and pricing strategies.

Commercial Support

  • Work with regional sales teams to drive customer adoption and grow market share.
  • Create customer‑facing materials such as product brochures, presentations, value propositions, and case studies.
  • Provide technical and commercial product training to internal teams and distributors.

Marketing Content & Campaign Execution

  • Support the development of digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including website updates, trade show content, and email campaigns.
  • Partner with communications teams to ensure consistent and compelling product messaging.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work with R&D to translate customer needs into product development opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Regulatory and Technical teams to ensure compliance, certifications, and accurate product documentation.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain on demand planning, product availability, and forecasting.

Data, Reporting & Insights

  • Monitor key performance indicators for product lines and marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and business case analyses for leadership review.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.

What competencies will you need?

Technical & Business Skills

  • Foundational understanding of chemistry or chemical manufacturing (degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field preferred).
  • Experience in marketing, product management, or commercial roles—preferably within the chemical, materials, or manufacturing industries.
  • Ability to analyse market research, competitive data, and product performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with CRM, ERP, and marketing automation tools is advantageous.

Marketing & Communication Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop compelling marketing content and presentations.
  • Understanding of value‑based selling and product positioning.

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Ability to manage projects, deadlines, and multiple stakeholder expectations.
