FILM & SMART SURFACE SOLUTIONS (F&SSS)

We are Film & Smart Surface Solutions (F&SSS) and currently active in more than 50 countries. Our main production location is in the UK, with plans in place to realise a second production location in Asia. Our R&D and Technical centres are already in all three territories, Americas, Asia and Europe.

 

Our target for the F&SSS division is to become the market leader in the in-mold electronics space for the automotive industry.  It capitalizes on emerging trends in human-machine interfaces, displays and in-mold electronics. The division combines our extensive offering of speciality films for the industrial and automotive industries with our developing portfolio of flexible and formable conductive and non-conductive inks.  The combination of these products with our in-depth materials and process expertise enables our customers to create formed, structurally rigid three dimensional automotive controls and displays that are at the forefront of modern cockpit aesthetics and functionality. Job Purpose

  • Grow the Industrial Film sales in the EMEA area.
  • Achieve budgeted sales revenue and Gross Margin for Industrial Film sales in the EMEA market.
  • Commercially manage key direct accounts and Dealers.
  • Develop existing accounts by building relationship and support our customers growth.
  • Actively search for prospects convert those into new customers to grow the business
  • Present MAES Film and Screen products to accounts, prospects and Tier-1s
  • Actively support OEM Managers and Account Managers to promote MAES Film business.
  • Support Product management to identify and source materials and products complimentary to our in house products.
  • Design and implement the service package required to support our product portfolio (analogous to XMAPP in Automotive market).
  • Identify target accounts and new business opportunities. Review and agree with EMEA Sales Director and  convert these into new business
  • Actively target and win competitive business as a result increase the MAES market share.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive ATLAS to manage accounts and opportunities, including SOP, products, forecasts, car model, model life and all the information needed to execute the sales strategy.
  • Report on monthly basis the sales position, market activity and provide sales forecast.
  • Manage the Distribution Channel Manager to train, support and develop our Dealer Network
  • Manage Industrial Film and screen activities with OEM’s and key customers. Working closely with appropriate OEM and Market managers.
  • Prepare visit plans (with agendas) report the results and actions of those visits in ATLAS.
  • Use market knowledge and customer base to identify new products or variants required for the Product portfolio. Competitor product information to be identified and shared with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure TIER-1s and key accounts are managed to minimise risk of loss and maximise revenue.
  • Develop service proposition activities, qualification and presentations to OEMs/T1s/Processors
  • Appraise regional sales manager of all major commercial issues that may affect sales revenue, risks and opportunities in the Region
  • Build relationships with other industry suppliers to improve market knowledge and obtain sales leads.
  • Provide market information to support potential new product introductions.
  • Commercially handle any complaints from dealers and direct accounts.Advising Dealer managers and colleagues as appropriate.
  • Support complaints management from direct account if requested.
  • Work closely together with Customer Service to ensure Customer satisfaction measurables and targets are being met.
  • Follow up and report on samples sent to direct account. Conversion of sampling program into new business gains.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • > 10 years of experience in a senior sales role
  • Proven track record of growing sales
  • Background in the Automotive / Industrial Film Industry.
  • Experience in developing quotations and Commercial packages.
  • Experience of working in European markets.

Skills

  • Proven track record in selling.
  • Technical experience/appreciation of all products.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build successful multi-level relationships, external and internal.
  • Management and motivation of Sales staff.
