Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for an inventory analyst and supply chain planner. The person will be responsible for orchestrating and optimizing the flow of finished goods across the EMEA region. This role ensures efficient distribution from manufacturing sites or central warehouses to local markets, maintaining high service levels while controlling costs and managing capacity constraints. 

 

The position acts as a key link between ICO team, SIOP team and logistics ensuring seamless execution of regional distribution strategies. This is a regional role covering multiple EMEA countries. The working model is hybrid with occasional travel to warehouses, plants, or logistics hubs.

 

Reporting Line: EMEA Intercompany Manager. 

 

This position is located in Villorba (TV), Italy.

What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities

  1. Distribution, Planning & Execution
    • Coordinate the movement of goods across EMEA (plants → distribution centers)
    • Develop and maintain distribution plans aligned with demand and supply plans
    • Ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment across multiple countries
  2. Inventory Management
    • Master data governance   
    • Aging review and re-allocation of slow moving
    • Stock health
  3. Logistics & Network Coordination
    • Optimize transport routes, shipment consolidation, and distribution flows
    • Support warehouse allocation and stock positioning decisions across the network
    • Capacity & Service Level Management
    • Proactively manage risks impacting service levels and propose mitigation actions
    • Balance inventory availability with transportation efficiency and cost targets
    • Monitor and improve OTD performance

 

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Ensure data accuracy in ERP and planning systems
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for stakeholders
  • Track and analyze key distribution KPIs: OTD, POP
  • Logistics costs (freigh-in, freight-out, warehousing)
  • Leadtimes

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency and reduce costs
  • Contribute to logistics network optimization and redesign initiatives
  • Drive process standardization across multiple countries and sites
  • Support digital tools implementation (SAP, PowerBI, IBP)

Who are You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain coordination.
  • Experience in a regional (EMEA) or multi-country environment is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, JDE).
  • Experience with planning tools is an advantage.
  • Strong Excel skills; Power BI is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of logistics flows, incoterms, and cross-border operations.

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.

You will be employed with the National Contract of Chemists (CCNL Chimico) with the possibility to subscribe to the related Health and Pension funds (FASCHIM and FONCHIM).
