Who are we looking for?

Engineering Manager will take the responsibility of leading engineering team including process, facility, EHS departments to strive better plant working efficiency. A continuous improvement culture will need to be developed through strategic planning with constraint budget and timeline.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Engineering Manager to lead engineering activities supporting safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations across our chemical facilities. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who can manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, partner closely with operations, and deliver engineering solutions that support business objectives, capital investment, and long‑term asset integrity.

You will be a key member of the site leadership team, providing engineering expertise while developing people, standards, and capabilities within a global organization.

What will you be doing?

1.    Lead engineering team including process, facility, EHS departments to strive better plant working efficiency.
2.    Production flow, production process improvement and optimization to enhance productivity and reduce running cost. 
3.    Manage and lead new product transfer projects and ensure new products meet required performance.

4.    Optimize and implement regular facility maintenance to maintain utility functional well.
5.    Design and optimize process and facility engineering diagrams, spec, standard procedures, and working instructions.
6.    In charge of facility expansion and/or relocation whereas necessary.
7.    To seek better quality of engineering and achieve productivity goals.  
8.    Support production, quality and other related departmental needs.
9.    Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities. Improve labor productivity and equipment utilization. Support annual operational excellence and cost-saving initiatives.
10.    Implement corporate targets and strive best performance to meet strategic KPIs.
11.    Implement upper management designated jobs.

 

Who are You?

Four-year college or university and above with Chemical Engineering or related Engineering degree. 5+ years working experience for process improvement, EHS improvements, engineering projects implementation.

What competencies will you need?

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Passion, self-motivated, high energy, hands-on, and a focus on execution.  
  • Independent thinking and technical problem-solving skills. Knowledge of engineering works.
