Our product portfolio is focused on specialized consumable chemical processes, such as surface treatments, circuit formation, primary metallization, electroplate and final finishes.

Job Purpose

The Marketing Communications Specialist helps to create and carry out the strategic global marketing communications initiatives and the regional marketing plan for the development/promotion of the MacDermid Alpha brands/products in the Americas. Primary focus is the Assembly Division brands, but support may be required for other MAES divisions. In this highly visible role, you will be a key member participating in a cross-function team environment which includes external organizations, primarily including channel partners and distributors, graphic designers, and industry press.

Job Responsibilities

  • Help create and carry out the marketing plan for the development of the MacDermid Alpha brands in the Americas with particular focus on the Assembly Division
  • Work on promotions /campaigns with the Regional Marketing Manager for the Americas.
  • Work with the Regional sales leadership to define and execute projects to drive growth in the region - both through distribution, sales reps, and direct sales.
  • Project coordination and management of all local exhibitions, customer events and seminars for the Americas Region.
  • Production of marketing communications materials that support the Americas region. This will include all forms of communications such as press releases, trade show graphics, brochures, advertising and e­ marketing, from concept stages to print/end use.
  • Support website content and management where appropriate
  • Support development and maintenance of sales enablement tools, separate from regular marketing communications collateral (ie flyers, brochures, etc).
  • Liaise with external agencies and suppliers to ensure briefs, timescales and budgets are met and delivered to the agreed specification


The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications from a four-year college/university and possess 3-5 years of related experience.
