Who are we looking for?
The SIOP Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning process that integrates all aspects of the company's operations, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, production, inventory management, and financial objectives for the Semiconductor Assembly Business Unit. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical and communication skills to ensure operational efficiency, demand alignment, and effective resource allocation. The SIOP Manager will work closely with sales, marketing, production, finance, and logistics teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure a balanced, achievable business plan.
What will you be doing?
- Lead monthly SIOP Demand and Supply Review Meetings and present net effects of forecasts to manufacturing, finance, and business leadership.
- Develop and manage the demand forecasting process, analyzing sales data, market trends, and historical performance to create accurate demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to gather insights and align on demand planning strategies.
- Ensure that the sales forecast aligns with production capabilities and inventory levels.
- Develops twelve month rolling supply and inventory plan that aligns to the capacity, demand, and financial plans for the business.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and avoid excess inventory.
- Collaborates across the organization on continuous improvement initiatives focused on implementing a world-class SIOP planning program.
Who are You?
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a supply chain planning role.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or other STEM discipline, and/or equivalent working experience.
What competencies will you need?
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in diverse culture
- Experience using MRP/ERP systems like JDE & or SAP, strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbal and in writing with a business fluency in English, Mandarin speaking is plus
