Who are we looking for?

This role is to support the implementation and daily execution of the Quality Management System to ensure that products manufactured meet semiconductor customer requirements and internal quality standards. The QA engineer  works closely with the QA team, QC Lab , Engineering and production team to maintain process controls, support QC testing activities, investigate quality issues, and assist in key quality deliverables such as FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP documentation. This role helps ensure consistent product quality, timely lot release, effective deviation management, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing operations.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001/IATF and customer’s requirements.
  • Support document control activities: SOP updates, change control, forms, and records.
  • Assist in monitoring test deviations, out‑of‑spec results, and ensure timely follow‑up with QA/QC teams.
  • Support NCR/MRB processes, including containment, documentation, and follow‑up actions.
  • Monitor key process parameters through basic SPC tools (control charts, capability indices) for quality reporting and to identify trends or potential issues
  • Coordinate and support internal audits; facilitate customer and third‑party audits; close findings with robust CAPA.
  • Manage customer complaints/RMAs, coordinate failure analysis and corrective actions using structured Root cause analysis technique (eg. 5‑Why, Fishbone) and prepare customer reports.

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining Process FMEA (PFMEA) by identifying potential failure modes, causes, and controls with relevant stakeholders
  • Support creation and updates of Control Plans, ensuring alignment with PFMEA, process requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Preparation of PPAP / customer submission packages, including gathering documents such as control plans, capability studies (Cp/Cpk), material certifications, inspection results, and other required elements.
  • Support supplier quality activities such as incoming quality monitoring and supplier issue follow‑up.
  • Support line checks, visual inspection standards and help reinforce good quality practices on the shop floor.

Who are You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or equivalent discipline).
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or quality concepts (SPC, 8D, ISO 9001 and IATF) is a plus.
  • Good analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with documentation control, audits, NCR, CAPA, and change control.
  • Comfortable working in chemical production and laboratory environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with Excel, statistical software (e.g., Minitab), or basic data analysis.
  • Able to perform overtime when required
  • Ability to follow and enforce procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to investigate issues using structured methods (5‑Why, Fishbone, Pareto).
