Who are we looking for?

Under the general supervision of the Engineering/Process Improvement Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining, installing, adjusting, and optimizing precision manufacturing equipment with strong emphasis on mechanical systems, reliability, and performance.

What will you be doing?

Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
•    Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment including laser cutting machines, film casting and film cutting machines, mixing and dispensing equipment, and automated visual inspection (AVI) systems.
•    Diagnose and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electro-mechanical issues.
•    Perform troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure high equipment availability and reliability.
•    Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Machine Setup, Adjustment & Calibration
•    Perform machine setup, fine-tuning, and parameter adjustments to meet production specifications.
•    Calibrate precision equipment to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and consistent quality output.
•    Optimize machine settings to improve process stability, efficiency, and yield.
•    Support production by ensuring machines operate within defined process parameters.
Installation & Commissioning
•    Lead or support installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.
•    Ensure proper mechanical assembly, alignment, leveling, and fit-up of components.
•    Integrate machines with automation systems and ensure proper mechanical interfacing.
•    Conduct trial runs, testing, and validation to meet operational and quality requirements.
Equipment Reliability & Improvement
•    Perform machine modifications and enhancements to improve performance and reliability.
•    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
•    Recommend long-term solutions for recurring mechanical issues.
Contractor & Vendor Coordination
•    Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repair, servicing, and installations.
•    Ensure quality and safety compliance for all external works.
Documentation & Compliance
•    Maintain maintenance records, SOPs, and equipment logs.
•    Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Cross-Functional Support
•    Provide technical support to production teams.
•    Collaborate with process, quality, and operations teams.
•    Train operators on machine operation and troubleshooting.

Who are You?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with automated equipment is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiar in operation, maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems used in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams regionally and locally.  
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and support informed decision‑making.
  • Proficient in English (Spoken and Written).
