Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Materials Planner to manage supply planning, maintain optimal inventory levels, and coordinate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, effective cross-functional collaboration, and proactive inventory management to ensure seamless operations and support overall business objectives. 

What will you be doing?

Supply & Demand Planning

  • Develop and execute supply chain planning strategies and supply plans to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery.
  • Analyze historical data, sales trends, and market dynamics to generate accurate demand and material forecasts.
  • Initiate and support SIOP processes to align demand and supply.

Inventory Management

  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess, obsolete, and SLOB inventory.
  • Proactively monitor stock levels to prevent stockouts and improve inventory turnover while maintaining high service levels.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Quality, Commercial, Warehouses, and other internal teams to align supply plans with business requirements.
  • Ensure order accuracy and promptly resolve discrepancies with relevant stakeholders.

Supply Chain Operations & Execution

  • Coordinate procurement, replenishment, and logistics activities to support smooth inbound and outbound operations.
  • Work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient material flow and on‑time delivery.

Process Improvement & Systems Enhancement

  • Develop and improve supply chain planning processes aligned with organizational goals, including tools, data visualization, and system enhancements.
  • Identify supply chain inefficiencies and propose optimization and corrective actions.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and analyze KPIs such as forecast accuracy and inventory turnover to measure supply chain effectiveness.
  • Generate regular reports and provide data‑driven insights to support management decision‑making. 

Who are You?

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or procurement. 

  • Experience in a trading environment preferred. 

  • Chemical industry experience is a strong plus. 

What competencies will you need?

  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or JDE is advantageous. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerBI. 
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and support informed decision‑making. 
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written). 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
