Who are we looking for?

The incumbent will be responsible for carrying out complete testing and analysis of semiconductor packages using MacDermid Alpha Electronic Solutions (MAES) die attach materials. Complete knowledge of assembly, inspection, and Failure Analysis techniques such as X-Ray, C-SAM, Cross-section polishing, SEM analysis, Reliability etc. Sound knowledge and expertise in semiconductor packaging, with a focus on die attach processes will be essential for the position

What will you be doing?

As a Die Attach Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional team across the globe to drive Die Attach process development projects for customers. Including material analysis and drive product development initiatives.

This role will also work on developing latest technologies in the Die Attach materials application, including customer qualification, full spectrum of testing and packaging analysis. 

Who are You?

  • Lead and manage die attach process development and optimization for semiconductor packages.
  • Perform complete testing and analysis of semiconductor packages, focusing on die attach processes.
  • Conduct failure analysis related to die attach issues and implement troubleshooting, corrective actions to enhance product reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and drive continuous improvement in die attach process.
  • Provide data package for new products developed, failure analysis reports and support testing results for customers 
  • Provide complete testing support to key target accounts and beta sites for successful qualification of products and support for High Volume production.
  • Determine testing accuracy and repeatability.

What competencies will you need?

 

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. 
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. 
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Trained in handling test and Inspection equipment such as: Die Bonder (Besi equipment preferred), Dage Die shear, X-Ray, Microscopes, programmable ovens and Reliability equipment.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Attention to details, high level of accuracy in process execution, testing and analysis.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical concepts.
  • Skilled in maintaining detailed documentation of processes, testing results and analysis reports.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-task environment.
