MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries. We primarily design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Our high-performance functional coatings improve resistance to wear and tear, such as hard chrome plating of shock absorbers for cars or provide corrosion resistance for appliance parts. Our decorative performance coatings apply finishes for parts in various end markets such as automotive interiors or jewelry surfaces. Who are we looking for?
The Sales Manager will drive profitable revenue growth for ESI and our businesses in the target market area of Industrial Solutions. Assigned to a specific territory, the Sales Manager is directly responsible for achieving year-over-year revenue and margin growth targets as well as assigned account objectives in the territory. The Sales Manager maintains and expands relationships, revenues, and margins with all customers and prospects within the assigned territory for our business. The successful candidate will manage many large accounts that require selling and maintaining skills at the Production, laboratory level as well as at the VP and Owner levels. This is a direct customer interfacing role.
What will you be doing?
The Sales Manager will assume all sales management responsibilities for this market. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Leading, coaching, directing, and coordinating all selling resources and efforts for the business, including: outside sales, strategic account management, inside sales, sales support, and customer/technical services as required.
- Managing all sales organization performance - including forecasting, budgeting, and generating strong revenue, margin, and profit growth for the market in line with our strategic and annual plans.
- Maintaining an active role in the development and growth of our most strategic accounts for this market including:
- Direct strategic relationships with key customers.
- Assisting and/or leading the negotiating efforts for some of our most strategic opportunities.
- Leading the strategic account management efforts for some of our most strategic accounts from time to time.
- Helping ESI further develop and penetrate this market by:
- Developing annual sales strategies, business plans, forecasts, and budgets for growth.
- Proactively developing and implementing market development activities necessary to gain the greatest amount of exposure and awareness in the market.
- Recommending and coordinating the marketing needs for this business to support demand generation and market growth.
- Ensuring the implementation and adoption of all ESI-wide sales excellence standards within this market.
- Exceptional relationship and networking skills.
- Experience with negotiating and crafting complex deal structures that create win-win solutions for our business and for our global customers.
