Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable EHS Engineer to join our global team and drive excellence in environmental, health, and safety practices across our operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in chemical manufacturing and a passion for creating safe, sustainable workplaces.
What will you be doing?
- EHS Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with international, national, and local EHS regulations and company standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Incident Investigation & Reporting: Lead investigations into EHS incidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective and preventive actions.
- Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees and contractors. Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Audits & Inspections: Plan and conduct internal EHS audits and inspections. Support external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Sustainability & Environmental Stewardship: Support initiatives to reduce environmental impact, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and emissions control.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures. Conduct drills and ensure readiness across sites.
- Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of EHS performance metrics. Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

What competencies will you need?
- Technical Expertise: Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of global EHS regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, REACH, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Project Management: Experience managing EHS projects and initiatives across multiple sites or regions.
- Communication & Training: Strong presentation and training skills; ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Problem Solving: Skilled in root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Digital Fluency: Proficiency in EHS management systems and data reporting tools.
