Who are we looking for?

  • Support customer processes related to HiTech and Electrolube offerings with technical expertise of polymer, resin, and electronic assembly.
  • Provide project management support for technical projects. Scope of technical projects includes technology transfers, process solutions, new product implementation & emerging technologies.
  • Prepares Applications Bulletins to communicate & support process solutions, New Product Implementation and Emerging Technologies.
  • Performs Beta Site evaluation to support New Product Introductions. This includes scheduling Beta Sites with Sales and customers as well as providing detailed reports to support product performance.
  • Provides sales, marketing and R&D with technical trends, customers’ technical requirements as well as partnership opportunities with customers.
  • Participates in and sometimes leads Worldwide Response teams for strategic customers.
  • Provides technical training to customers –engineers & operators as well as Sales & Logistic partners.
  • Addresses technical inquiries as called upon.
  • Conducts failure analyses.
  • Conduct investigations and completes project reporting.
  • Helps overall Technical Services Group by supporting sales and customers.
  • Provides technical support for manufacturing and quality assurance.

What will you be doing?

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, Master or Ph. D is a plus, of chemical, chemical engineering, polymer engineering.
  • 5 to 8 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of polymer and resin products with hands-on experience in electronic assembly; with adhesives, polymer reinforce materials (underfill/edge bond, die-attach/surface mounting, etc.), protection polymers (conformal coating, encapsulation/potting), and thermal interface materials technology, at least one of these, either material or processing.
  • Rich experience on customer facing for field application supports.
  • Preferably with working experience in fields like Camera modules, Mobile, Automotive, Semi-conductors, and displays, familiar with products designs of electronic assemblies in PCB and chip level packaging - Camera, ADAS, Sensors, Mobile mainboard, BMS, Converter, Controller, Flowmeter, etc.

Who are You?

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year course in chemistry, chemical engineering or relevant disciplines
  • TOEIC (Score >800/990)  
  • Proficient in use of spreadsheet and database
  • Possess a valid driving license
  • Comfortable working in environment where moving machinery and gas fumes may be present.
  • Commit to overtime on an occasional basis to support customer on line issues.

  • Have strong presentation skills.
  • Must be willing to travel at least 30 percent of the time to local areas.
  • Must have proven project management and time management skills.
  • Must be able to solve problems and troubleshoot technical matters while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues.
  • Must have outstanding customer relations skills and be able to adapt to varying customer needs.
  • Ability to maintain a solution-oriented approach while dealing with interpersonal conflict, hazardous conditions, personal rejection, or time demands.
  • Must be able to handle constructive feedback and adapt accordingly.
