Who are we looking for?
This position, R&D Chemist III, is responsible for leading and executing research and development projects focused on products for the wafer level and semiconductor packaging, IC substrate, and printed circuit board industries. The role requires developing analytical methods, characterizing organic synthesized materials, assisting in formulating products, and providing technical recommendations to guide research directions. You will actively solve problems using experimental data and drive projects toward successful completion, often taking a leadership role and mentoring junior team members. Clear communication of findings through reports and presentations is essential, as is participation in departmental meetings.
What will you be doing?
- Design and implement analytical methods and assist in new product formulations for advanced electronics industries.
- Lead and contribute to strategic research projects assigned by the Senior Research Projects Manager.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques such as AAS, FTIR, HPLC, GC/MS, IC, GPC, LC/MS, CVS, SEM, and EDS.
- Analyze and interpret experimental results, making recommendations for future project directions.
- Leverage data to proactively address challenges and create value in research activities.
- Take initiative to drive research projects to completion and ensure timely delivery.
- Guide and support junior technical staff when needed.
- Prepare clear reports and presentations to share technical findings with staff and participate in project meetings.
- Develop and validate alternative solutions for existing products.
- Maintain expertise in the latest technologies and methodologies relevant to the organization’s strategic goals.
Who are You?
- PhD in Chemistry or Material Science, or an MS in Chemistry with at least 7 years of laboratory experience.
- Strong expertise in Analytical Chemistry or Electrochemistry is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with advanced analytical methods including AAS, FTIR, HPLC, GC/MS, IC, GPC, LC/MS, CVS, SEM, and EDS

The typical base salary range for this position is anticipated to be between MINIMUM and MAXIMUM annually.
