Who are we looking for?

We now have an opportunity for Materials Planner to join our team.

The Material Planner is responsible for supply planning, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective collaboration, and proactive inventory management to support business needs.

What will you be doing?

•Develop and implement supply chain planning strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Quality, and Commercial team, to align supply chain activities with business objectives.

•Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

•Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.

•Initiate SIOP to ensure demand and supply alignment.

•Develop and implement supply chain planning processes that align with organizational goals, including new tools, data visualization, and system enhancements.

•Analyze historical data, sales trends, and market dynamics to forecast product and material demand accurately.

•Ensure order accuracy and promptly address any discrepancies with internal teams.

•Create and execute supply plans, ensuring timely procurement and replenishment.

•Coordinate with internal teams to align supply plans with business requirements.

•Monitor stock levels and take proactive measures to prevent stockouts and minimize SLOB.

•Work closely with warehouses and logistics teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound shipments.

•Optimize inventory turnover while maintaining high service levels.

•Track KPI, such as forecast accuracy and inventory turnover, to measure supply chain efficiency.

•Identify inefficiencies in supply chain processes and propose optimization strategies.

•Generate periodic reports and provide data-driven insights to support management decision-making.

Who are You?

•Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

•At least 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or procurement, preferably in a trading environment.

•Experience in the chemical industry is preferred.

What competencies will you need?

To be successful in this role, you will need to have below skills:

•Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, JDE) is a plus.

•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

•Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

•Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
