Who are we looking for?

We now have an opportunity for Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you should perform team member in recording to reporting function of Asia Financial Shared Service center, ensure entity activities are following Service Level agreements and proceed improvement in Key Performance Indicators.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Accountant, the essential functions and responsibilities are as following:

  1. Perform team member in Finance Shared Service Center to ensure:
    1. SOX and External audits are properly conducted.
    2. Balance sheet reconciliations are properly performed.
    3. Balance sheet and profit income and expense analysis are properly completed on a timely basis.
    4. Inventory related accounting, reporting and unit costs are properly handled.
    5. General ledger related accounting and reporting are properly processed.
    6. Monitor KPI and SLA tracker, drive continuous improvement.
  2. Effective development
    1. Develop “Continuous Improvement” mindset.
    2. Ensure Customer Focus.
  3. Be positive FSS team member to deliver Day 2 Global Close objective.
  4. Be positive to other ad hoc tasks assigned by management team.

Who are You?

Education and language requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
  2. Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. Proficient Japanese or Korean languages capability, basic English reading and writing abilities.

What competencies will you need?

To be successful in this role, you will need to have high sense of responsibility and teamwork abilities in order to make work smoothly.

  1. Work with Country Finance/Operation/Commercial team.
  2. Collaborate with all functions within FSS to solve problem and drive continuous improvement projects to support our internal customers.
  3. Work closely with other ESI FSS team on sharing/adoption of best practices.
