Who are we looking for?

We now have an opportunity for Application Lab Manager to join our GDAC team.
The Application Lab Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of GDAC Shanghai and Shenzhen laboratory, with a focus on physical and chemical analysis. This role ensures high-quality technical support to customers, drives method development and validation and maintains compliance with safety and quality standards. The Lab Manager leads a team of lab professionals to deliver analytical solutions that support product development, customer applications and troubleshooting.

What will you be doing?

As the Application Lab Manager, you will:
  • Lead and manage the laboratory team to deliver higher working efficiency with high-quality analytical support as demanding.
  • Design and execute physical and chemical analytical methods to support customer applications.
  • Provide analytical technique support and analytical services to customers, including on-site lab equipment operation and analytical hands-on skill training, regular analysis service, data interpretation, and professional report out.
  • Develop and validate new analytical methods in alignment with customer and business needs.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Technical Service Engineers, and Product Teams to support key customer projects.
  • Ensure laboratory safety, cleanliness, and adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) policies.
  • Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and customer reports.
  • Monitor lab KPIs and continuously improve lab efficiency and service quality.
  • Complete the items of laboratory related as Department leader demands.

Who are You?

1. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
2. Six to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication in both English and Chinese, including technical reporting and customer interaction.
•Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
•Continuous Improvement: Commitment to driving innovation, improving lab processes, and adopting new technologies.
•Compliance & Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of laboratory safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality systems.
