Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Finance Specialist to support financial operations, reporting, and decision-making across the business's manufacturing operations. This role is to cover maternity leave and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Accounting and Commercial) to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
With a high level of fluency in English, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting strategic initiatives, and enabling data-driven decisions across the organization.
What will you be doing?
As Finance Specialist, you will:
- Support financial planning and analysis: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across business units and functions.
- Prepare financial reports: Deliver timely and accurate reporting on performance metrics, cost trends, and profitability.
- Partner with business teams: Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial, and R&D teams to understand financial impacts and support decision-making.
- Monitor and control costs: Track operational expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support efficiency initiatives.
- Support compliance and controls: Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to strategic projects: Provide financial insights for investment proposals, business cases, and transformation initiatives.
- Maintain financial systems and data: Work with ERP and reporting tools to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities.

What competencies will you need?
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with a sound understanding of manufacturing accounting (costings, BOMs, routings)
- Business Partnering: Ability to build relationships and influence decisions across operational and commercial teams.
- Data & Systems Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools. Familiarity with Hyperion (HFM, Planning, Essbase), PowerBI, SAP or JD Edwards is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and recommending solutions.
- Compliance & Controls: Familiarity with financial policies, audit requirements, and internal control frameworks.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to prepare and deliver clear, impactful reports and presentations.
- Education & Experience: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly desirable.

Working time: 38 hours/week. Mon-Thu 8:30 -12:30, 13:30 -17:30, Fri 8:30 -12:30, 13:30 -15:30 with half an hour of morning (8:30 -9:00) flexibility guaranteed.
