MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries. We primarily design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Our high-performance functional coatings improve resistance to wear and tear, such as hard chrome plating of shock absorbers for cars or provide corrosion resistance for appliance parts. Our decorative performance coatings apply finishes for parts in various end markets such as automotive interiors or jewelry surfaces. As part of our broader sustainable solutions platform, we also provide both chemistry and equipment for turnkey wastewater treatment and recycle and reuse solutions.

Job Purpose
We are looking for safety professionals, highly motivated and willing to take a step further in their career by joining our team. Exciting and challenging opportunity working in an American multinational chemical company. The candidate will hold the position of company ASPP and he/she will be responsible for development of safety procedures for the various company activities.
He/she will report to the Safety Environment Quality Manager. The successful candidate will actively participate in the development of the safety team, helping with possible implementations/system changes, transition of activities and collaborate in the continuous process improvement.
Job Responsibilities
Service Delivery
• Holds the position of company ASPP, collaborating with the RSPP in carrying out the tasks proper to the Prevention and Protection Service
• Collaborates in the drafting of the company Training Plan, monitoring its timely implementation and legal deadlines
• Carries out training and information activities pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/08
• Participates and collaborates in the investigation and management of safety Non Conformities like accidents, injuries and near misses/accidents
• Prepares and organizes quarterly meetings with management to explain the progress of improvement activities in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001 - ISO 14001 - ISO 45001
• Prepares the Audit Plan and conducts and/or participates in internal and external Audit activities
• Conducts inspections of work environments to verify their conditions, developing the improvement plan agreed in the EHS manager
• Identifies risk factors, risk assessment and identification of measures for the safety and healthiness of work environments, in compliance with current regulations based on specific knowledge of the company organization
• Develops the preventive and protective measures referred to in the DVR, and the control systems for these measures
• Develops safety procedures for the various company activities
• Participates in consultations on occupational health and safety protection
• Provides workers with the information required by current regulations (Art. 36 Legislative Decree 81/08)
• Collaborates in the preparation of emergency simulations and planned trainings (PEI - Internal Emergency Plan - according to the "Seveso law")
Continuous improvement
• Apply understanding of assigned business processes to identify gaps and propose continuous improvement measures
• Work closely with the process owners to understand issues root causes and standard process deviations
• Proactively seek feedback from fellow team members and other internal and external customers
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Experience in similar role would be highly appreciated
• Advanced Excel skills
• ASPP role in large, listed, multinational company is desirable
• Knowledge of RIR Prevention regulations (Major Accident Risk according to the Seveso law) is preferred, as he/she will actively contribute to the management, implementation, updating of Management Systems
• Knowledge of Environmental regulations (Legislative Decree 152/06) and the ISO 14001 standard is preferred
