Who are we looking for?
This position will be responsible for conducting chemical and physical laboratory tests of solid or liquid materials analyzing test data by performing specific duties for our site in San Martino di Trecate (NO) - Italy.
What will you be doing?
- Inspection and technical and chemical analysis of finished goods to ensure that within the specification.
- Inspection and technical and chemical analysis of raw materials to ensure that within the specification.
- To ensure that non-compliance of materials (Finished goods and Raw materials) is reported to management.
- Set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for such testing and analysis following either standardized or experimental formulas and procedures.
- Calibrate lab equipment and both prepare and standardize lab reagents (titrants, indicators, buffers or standards) according to standardized procedure.
- Recording of all analytical results using the appropriate software.
- Keep and archive the retained samples for future verifications.
- Follow good laboratory practices and methods and MPS’ quality practices and procedures.
- Checks for unsafe conditions during their shift, and either corrects or reports these items to the supervisor.
- Maintains a high standard of housekeeping as part of normal operations.
Who are You?
- High school leaving qualification in technical school or a technical degree.
- A period of experience and/or training in a laboratory is very appreciated.
What competencies will you need?
- Strong team-building skills and the proven ability to work with a diverse group of people.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of the basic Office package.
- Appetite for delivering continuous improvement.
- Eager to learn and embraces change.
