Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a curious, technically capable R&D Scientist to contribute to the development and improvement of chemical products and technologies across our global portfolio. This role is ideal for a scientist who enjoys hands‑on experimentation, rigorous data analysis, and working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to translate scientific ideas into practical, commercial outcomes.

You will be part of an innovative R&D organization supporting both new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist lead formulation chemists in daily bench work
  • Formulate pastes according to established SOPs.
  • Troubleshoot basic process issues and escalate appropriately
  • Perform optimization studies
  • Support applications and synthesis teams by providing pastes as needed
  • Record and present results weekly
  • Maintain and organize formulation records

Who are You?

  • 0 - 3 years of industry experience in a related field.
  • Technical certification or degree in electrical, chemical, or a related engineering field is required
  • Materials testing background prefrerred
  • Experience working with metals, QC background, lab experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; ability to log process data
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis software such as Minitab is a plus
  • Ability to work in a team environment, follow instructions, communicate effectively.
  • Hands-on, good time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail; focus on process control, documentation, maintaining quality.
  • Able to stand, reach, use fine tools; occasionally lift small weights or handle assemblies.

The typical base salary range for this position is between $71,822.00 to $107,732.00
