Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Director to lead our commercial efforts across key global markets. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships in the chemical industry. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with deep industry knowledge, a global mindset, and a passion for delivering results through collaboration and innovation.

What will you be doing?

As Sales Director, you will:
  • Develop and execute global sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead and manage regional sales teams to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Report regularly to executive leadership on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.

Who are You?

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive sales experience in the chemical industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing international teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of chemical products, applications, and global market dynamics.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

As part of our team here, as well as receiving a competitive base salary, you will also participate in a generous performance-related bonus plan.  In addition, you will also receive a 401k plan with company matching, Life Insurance, and Medical Insurance as well as 9 holidays. The typical base salary range for this position is between $174,000 to $262,000. Our pay range is based on several factors which are considered when determining any base salary.
