Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Wastewater Treatment Application Specialist at our Rock Hill, SC facility. The Application Specialist will be responsible for developing and achieving the successful system design for wastewater for clients using knowledge about equipment design and operations. This will include a broad range of knowledge about specific technologies for water treatment. There will be some travel to clients for technical expertise during the sales process.

What will you be doing?

  • Developing and maintaining effective sales relationships with sales team
  • Focusing on sales opportunity creation, market development and brand value selling
  • Developing and executing plans to convert opportunities into profitable sales
  • Traveling as required by the business and territory (regional and/or international)
  • Building and maintaining effective team working relationships with co-workers

Who are You?

  • Bachelor’s level degree is Preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years of water equipment experience or technology area
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM or similar software
  • Proven effectiveness working within a sales team
  • Good collaborator in achieving goals
  • Effective home office worker, where necessary
  • Good language skills, business report writing, presentation creation and delivery

What competencies will you need?

  • Knowledge of the specific industry, customers, competitors, and product lines
  • Understands the structure of a value-based solutions approach
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Working knowledge and capability to use at least one CRM system
  • Effective communication, in writing and verbally, both inside and outside the company
  • Develops effective relationships with team members
  • Capable of understanding customer needs and recommend optimum products and services
  • Independent and self-motivated to achieve business goals
  • Effective time-management skills, understand priorities and deliver on agreed goals
