Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Product and Market Specialist who has perseverance, persuasiveness, and strong expectation management skills. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to ask insightful questions, leverage analytical skills to understand responses, and foster long-lasting, successful relationships. Success in this role demands the ability to act as a bridge between the organization and external stakeholders, translating the unique advantages of EnvioTECH equipment into increased market awareness and growth. The role is driven by a passion for improving, developing, and expanding the product portfolio.

What will you be doing?

Product Support:

  • Assists the sales department prior to sales to ensure the technical conditions at the customer’s site align with the requirements for optimal equipment functionality.
  • Confirms (prior to commissioning) that the customer has taken all necessary precautions for safe and effective operation.
  • Designs and conducts feasibility studies for new or alternative applications of existing equipment.
  • Plans, organizes, and oversees the commissioning of new or modified EnvioTECH equipment.
  • Provides support to Field Service Engineers and can step in to replace them when necessary.
  • Tracks customer satisfaction throughout the pre-sale, sale, and post-sale phases.

Product Management:

  • Ensures post-commissioning satisfaction with new customers.
  • Responds to customer inquiries regarding the operation of EnvioTECH products.
  • Advises the MES organization on potential modifications or improvements.
  • Supports Field Service Engineers with written reports and customer communications.
  • Delivers product training to MEIS colleagues and customers.
  • Monitors the environmental landscape:
    • Keeps track of environmental legislation that could impact the business.
    • Records emission limits in relevant countries or regions.
  • Monitors the commercial landscape:
    • Analyzes and records competitive equipment, including technology, pricing, market strategies, branding, etc.
    • Provides advice and support for branding, marketing communications, pricing strategies, customer events, exhibitions, and trade shows.

Who are You?

  • Bachelor’s level degree in a technology-based discipline
  • Experience in- and knowledge of electroplating and/or related surface finish technologies
  • Minimum of 3 years of field technical experience
  • Experience in sales- and/or product marketing activities

What competencies will you need?

  • Knowledge and skills specific to wastewater treatment & recycling technologies.
  • Good understanding of ‘value in use’ based marketing.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Proven effectiveness managing a marketing function.
  • Effective home office worker, where necessary.
  • Residence within the assigned region.
  • Ability and willingness to travel, as required to execute a Technical & Market Specialist role.
  • Prepared to work outside regular office hours.
  • Good language skills, business report writing, presentation creation and project delivery.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Team player.
