Production Assistant

Business Unit:  MEIS
Division:  Supply Chain - Business

Who are we looking for?

• Perform the activities established by management and immediate leadership, in order to meet the production schedule;

• Add Raw Materials and operate the mixing tanks for the preparation of finished products;

• Take samples of the Finished Product and send it to Lab. CQ;

• Monitor the efficiency and functionality of all equipment to maintain the Factory's productivity;

• Label, pack and seal the products following the production procedures and then make it available for stock;

What will you be doing?

Record production data and equipment to control PCP spreadsheets;

• Separate the packaging of empty raw materials according to their classification, for later destination;

• Properly dispose of the wash water for later disposal;

• Clean and help in the maintenance of the equipment used in production, as well as assist in the organization of the factory with the objective of maintaining an adequate and efficient place to carry out all tasks.

Who are You?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift.

What competencies will you need?

  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • May require standing for long periods and lifting up to [insert weight].
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
