Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a motivated and curious Logistics Intern to support our supply chain and logistics operations within a global chemical business. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who wants hands‑on experience in industrial logistics, distribution, and supply chain coordination while learning how goods are safely and efficiently moved across global markets.

You will gain exposure to real‑world logistics processes in a regulated environment and work closely with experienced professionals across logistics, planning, customer service, and procurement teams.

What will you be doing?

Logistics & Supply Chain Support

  • Support day‑to‑day logistics activities, including order tracking, shipment coordination, and delivery follow‑up.
  • Assist with transport planning and coordination with carriers, warehouses, and freight forwarders.
  • Help ensure materials and products are delivered on time and in line with customer and business requirements.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain and update logistics data, shipment records, and tracking information in company systems.
  • Support the preparation of basic logistics reports and performance metrics (e.g. on‑time delivery, lead times).

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with internal teams such as production planning, customer service, sales, and finance.
  • Support communication with external logistics partners when required.

Compliance & Safety Awareness

  • Learn and follow procedures related to chemical handling, transport regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Support documentation requirements for shipping, including basic transport and export paperwork under supervision.

Learning & Improvement

  • Participate in training and development activities related to logistics, supply chain, and systems.
  • Contribute fresh ideas and support continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function.

What competencies will you need?

Education & Technical Competencies

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of logistics, transportation, or supply chain principles (academic knowledge acceptable).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • Exposure to ERP or logistics systems is an advantage but not required.
