Who are we looking for?

MAES is looking for a Research and Development (R&D) Intern who will support the Product Utilization Team with general operations and organizational tasks. In addition, you will work on various projects and initiatives that could impact the Business globally. This internship will be a full-time temporary assignment (May - August) at our Piscataway, NJ site. This position will be Monday - Friday, day shift. 

What will you be doing?

  • Learning and operating the variety of machines found within the Product Utilization Team (PUT) lab
  • Reading various papers to increase your knowledge base of SMT production
  • Familiarize yourself with the physical properties of solder paste and underfills and their industry uses
  • Assisting in all parts of the SMT line production i.e. printing paste, creating inspection routines, applying semiconductor components to PCB, Xray imaging
  • Work with the team in identifying problems with experiments and collaborate to find solutions
  • Create short reports on findings and conclusions from experiments done in lab

Who are You?

We are looking for someone who is pursuing a degree in Engineering (chemical, material science, or electrical preferred).
