ASSEMBLY SOLUTIONS
As a global supplier of solder technologies, fluxes, cleaners and other attachment materials for the electronics assembly industry, we develop innovative materials that join electronic circuits in high volume device manufacturing. Our high-performing interconnect materials are used to assemble consumer electronics from circuit boards, discrete electronic components, connectors and integrated circuit substrates.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and reliability standards. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that contribute to the advancement of our products and processes

What will you be doing?
- Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems, ensuring safety, functionality, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analyze designs using engineering principles, simulations, and software tools (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Manage the prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems, addressing issues and implementing design improvements.
- Integrate fully serviceable and industrially ruggedized systems into existing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and production engineers to ensure product development meets all requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project schedules and milestones.
- Generate and review technical documentation including specifications, manuals, and reports.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of existing systems, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Contribute to new product and process innovations, driving continuous improvements in product development and design.
Who are You?
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably in manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Hand-on experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical components.
- Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ASME, ISO).

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex engineering challenges using simulations, testing, and innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and mechanical fatigue, with experience in developing systems that operate under extreme conditions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with FMEA, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T), design for manufacturability (DFM), and other design and quality assurance processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with advanced manufacturing techniques (e.g., additive manufacturing, CNC machining).
- Experience with integrating control systems (e.g., PLC, Arduino, MATLAB).
