LoB Product Director
Who are we looking for?
The Line of Business Leader (LoB) owns the global vision, strategy, and execution to deliver long-term volume and margin growth of the Flexible Printed Electronics line of business globally. This includes direct leadership over the entire specialized series of ink/pastes to enable the creation of printed circuit elements and other associated products. The LoB leader owns strategy definition, deployment, and prioritization in close collaboration with business unit partners in R&D, supply chain, applications, engineering and sales to drive profitability of LoB portfolio. The appropriate Global / Regional Product managers for the Line of Business will report directly to the LoB leader.
What will you be doing?
- Owns the business strategic vision development and deployment for the LoB portfolio to deliver organizational growth objectives. Proactively manages an evergreen technology roadmap for the LoB using customer insights, market intelligence, and competitive benchmarking to ensure long‑term profitability. Implements strategy through the Product Line Technology Road Map (TRM) process, maintaining a robust cross‑functional feedback loop and adjusting internal strategies as appropriate.
- Owns and delivers the LoB sales margin and volume budget, including margin management and business health. Develops targeted strategies and gains alignment with regional commercial teams to deliver revenue, margin, and volume objectives by LoB. Acts as an active participant in the Element Strategy Development and Implementation (ESDI) process supporting the Business Unit’s 3‑Year Strategic Planning.
- Accelerates portfolio growth through design and deployment of breakthrough strategies addressing organizational capability gaps and leveraging market‑driven technology inflection points. Accountable for and coaching assigned Product Management assets. Develops LoB strategies for product life cycle, pricing, and SKU management.
- Owns development of strategic market messages and coordinates with product management and marketing to deploy marketing strategy effectively. Drives deployment of high‑impact selling tools supporting product value propositions that can be communicated at the associate level. Ensures compelling LoB value propositions are developed and deployed at all customers.
- Engages in strategic account qualification deliverables, ensuring best‑practice implementation and contingency planning. Develops customer segmentation and owns commercialization strategies. Identifies areas requiring business unit partner support, builds business case justification for prioritization, and ensures project timelines support annual and strategic plans.
- Develops LoB strategies for filling product gaps, product positioning, value propositions, sales tool generation, and People/Process/Technology/Equipment needs. Implements strategies through commercial plans, capability development, NPD, product capability validation, and pipeline health. Identifies areas requiring Global Process Engineering Group (GPEG) support, develops business case justification, and ensures aligned project timelines.
- Owns demand forecasting for the LoB and contributes to coordination of LoB Supply Chain strategies to meet profitability and efficiency targets. Provides monthly business updates and drives organizational alignment as part of BU Business Decision Day (BDD). Responsible for market assessment validation processes (F1, F2, F3, and budget). Serves as L2 owner of BTSO/KSIs. Identifies areas for LoB continuous improvement and ensures effective root‑cause analysis for strategic issues impacting the LoB.
Who are You?
- 10+ years of experience in product management, business leadership, or related fields.
- 4-year degree or equivalent required in technical field, MBA preferred.
- To successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job, the incumbent of this position must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- The incumbent must also be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
What competencies will you need?
- Familiarity with the electronic assembly industry

As part of our team, as well as receiving a competitive base salary, you will also participate in a generous performance related bonus plan. The typical base salary range for this position is between $182,000 and $218,000. Our pay range is based on several factors which are considered when determining any base salary. #LI-IF1
