Who are we looking for?

MAES is looking for a Chemistry (R&D) Intern who will support the day-to-day activities regarding the Sintering Product(s) Development by conducting experiments, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting scientific data. In addition, you will work on various projects and initiatives that could impact the Business globally. This internship will be a full-time temporary assignment (May - August) at our Piscataway, NJ site. This position will be Monday - Friday, day shift. 

What will you be doing?

• Assist in formulating new sinter pastes and sinter related products and analyze data toward project direction goals and milestones
• Manufacture small volume sinter products for testing and customer sampling
• Validate Alpha products for function against project objectives
• Work with analytical equipment such as Rheometer, Peel Tester, Shear Tester and Optical Imaging
• Interact with R&D, GPEG and Operation Teams regarding technical issues
• Record test results on standardized forms and write test reports describing procedures used
• Creates lab-scale experimentation
• Other duties as assigned

Who are You?

We are looking for someone who is pursuing a degree in Chemistry and have a minimum of 2 years related lab experience and/or training.
