Who are we looking for?
The Senior HR Executive is responsible for delivering full-spectrum HR operational and advisory support for the Thailand business unit within a manufacturing/chemical MNC environment.
This role partners closely with the SEA HR Lead and local leadership to ensure compliance with Thai statutory labour laws, effective payroll & HR administration, employee lifecycle management, and alignment of HR practices with business objectives.
The incumbent must possess strong knowledge of Thailand Labour Protection Act, Social Security regulations, Personal Income Tax requirements, and other relevant local employment legislation
What will you be doing?
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with Thailand Labour Protection Act, Social Security Act, Workmen’s Compensation Fund, Personal Income Tax (PND1) regulations and other statutory requirements.
- Provide advisory support to managers and employees on Thai employment law, disciplinary procedures, termination processes, and employee relations matters.
- Support grievance handling, disciplinary investigations, and domestic inquiries in compliance with Thai legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with Thai legal record-keeping standards.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing through iSuperSuite payroll system and HR related administration
- Ensure accurate calculation of salary, overtime (OT), shift allowance, incentives, statutory deductions (SSO, tax), and benefits.
- Liaise with Finance for payroll reconciliation and reporting.
- Ensure timely submission of Social Security contributions, withholding tax (PND1), and related statutory filings.
- Coordinate with insurance brokers on group insurance, health coverage, and employee benefits administration.
- Support annual tax filing processes (PND1 Kor, 50 Tawi).
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes in compliance with Thai labour law (probation, notice period, severance calculations).
- Administer employment contracts, contract renewals, and confirmation letters.
- Oversee performance management processes and support calibration discussions.
- Partner with managers to identify training needs and coordinate with external training institutions.
- Support submission of training grants (if applicable under Thai schemes).
- Others within the employee lifecycle journey
HR Systems & Data Management
- Maintain and ensure data accuracy in HRIS and ATS platforms such as:
- SAP SuccessFactors
- Workday
- Generate HR analytics and reports for management (headcount, turnover, payroll cost, absenteeism, etc.).
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with Thailand PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act).
Work Permit & Visa Administration
- Manage work permits and visa applications for expatriates and foreign employees in Thailand.
- Liaise with relevant Thai government authorities and service providers.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with immigration and employment regulations.
Strategic Focus
- Act as HR partner to plant/site leadership to support manufacturing and operational workforce
- Support workforce planning aligned with business expansion and operational requirements
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives within the Thailand site
Who are You?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of HR experience including payroll within a Manufacturing or Chemical industry in an international MNC is preferred.
- Familiar with ATS/HRIS system/ISuperSuite
What competencies will you need?
- Strong knowledge of Thailand Labour Protection Act and statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll processing and statutory submissions.
- Hands-on experience with:
- iSuperSuite payroll system
- SAP SuccessFactors
- Workday
- Solid understanding of manufacturing workforce practices (shift operations, OT calculations, blue-collar workforce management).
