Who are we looking for?

This Legal Assistant role will provide comprehensive support to the Legal team on a wide range of legal matters, including legal entity compliance, maintenance of corporate records and organizational structure, and global subsidiary management. We are looking for a person of high integrity who is comfortable working independently and in a quick paced, challenging environment. The successful candidate will be detail oriented with a proactive and practical approach.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist with corporate compliance matters, including required annual approvals and filings and maintenance of corporate records for both domestic and international entities
  • Assist with corporate governance activities, including drafting resolutions, minutes and a variety of other corporate documents for attorney review
  • Create and maintain a master tracker of all ongoing corporate matters and compliance calendar with the assistance of the company’s corporate service provider
  • Assist with document management for the Legal team, including coordinating signatures on approved minutes, resolutions, consents and agreements, and ensuring fully executed copies are received and properly filed
  • Manage and maintain physical and electronic legal document storage for all entities and organize all contracts, agreements, supporting documents, etc. for easy access
  • Assist with notarization and apostille processes as required
  • Provide administrative support, including with respect to processing invoices, reconciling credit card charges/other payments, and setting up new vendors
  • Facilitate the approval and payment of third-party legal fees
  • Manage and/or complete a wide variety of miscellaneous projects as the Legal team and business units otherwise require

Who are You?

  • At least 2+ years of prior work experience as a legal assistant or corporate paralegal
  • Experience with legal entity management and compliance, in and outside the United States
  • Experience with managing multiple concurrent projects and keeping track of due dates and filing requirements
