Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team based in Neyron (near Lyon, France). In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining quality management systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
What will you be doing?
- Drive quality improvements by applying relevant statistical methods and establishing confidence levels.
- Develop sampling plans and conduct experiments using full and fractional factorial techniques.
- Create inspection and work instructions, prepare inspection reports, and coordinate internal audits.
- Manage customer complaints using C-Pro quality reporting software and 8D methodology, ensuring effective communication with customer-facing teams.
- Analyze data, prepare detailed reports, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices, including ASQ certification.
- Collaborate with the team to solve problems and ensure product compliance with quality standards.
- Identify gaps in assigned business processes and propose actionable improvement measures.
- Collaborate with process owners to understand root causes of issues and deviations from standard processes.
- Proactively gather feedback from team members and internal/external customers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Who are You?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Over 3+ years of same role experience required
- Advanced Excel skills
- ASPP role in large, listed, multinational company is desirable.
- Knowledge of RIR Prevention regulations (Major Accident Risk according to the Seveso law) is preferred, as he/she will actively contribute to the management, implementation, updating of Management Systems
- Knowledge of Environmental regulations (Legislative Decree 152/06) and the ISO 14001 standard is preferred.

- Relational skills to undertake and manage projects working in multi-functional Teams (Quality, Production, Process, Maintenance) in a rapidly expanding Chemical Site
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- French native speaker
- Appetite for delivering continuous improvement
- Able to establish personal credibility at all levels building effective relationships
- Eager to learn and embraces change
