Who are we looking for?

The SIOP Manager will be responsible for ensuring alignment between sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory management for the Naarden manufacturing site. They are responsible for overseeing the SIOP Demand and Supply plans, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the timely availability of products to meet customer demand. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with various departments, and the implementation of best practices to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.

Beside the SIOP activities the SIOP Manager also manages the back-office team of the Naarden Manufacturing site. This team is responsible for shipment and inter-company transactions. The SIOP Manager conducts multiple TIER 1 meetings in the week to check if all is going according plan or things need to be escalated accordingly. Also he or she participates in the TIER 2/3 meetings communication and if needed escalation within the operational team.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Lead monthly SIOP Demand and Supply Review Meetings and present net effects of forecasts to manufacturing, finance, and business leadership.
  • Develop and manage the demand forecasting process, analyzing sales data, market trends, and historical performance to create accurate demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to gather insights and align on demand planning strategies.
  • Create a monthly Rough-Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) to provide a broader assessment of capacity requirements and constraints over a mid-to-longer term horizon to ensure that the production plan outlined in the Master Production Schedule (MPS) is feasible and achievable given available resources and constraints.
  • Develops twelve month rolling supply and inventory plan that aligns to the capacity, demand, and financial plans for the business.
  • Monitor inventory levels and set optimal stock levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Develop a sequenced master production schedule (MPS) that outlines when and how much of each product should be manufactured to meet supply plan.
  • Utilize MRP planning systems to generate accurate material requirements plans based on demand forecasts, lead times, capacity constraints, and inventory targets.
  • Collaborates across the organization on continuous improvement initiatives focused on implementing a world-class SIOP planning program.

 

Beside the SIOP responsibilities, the SIOP Manager also has the following back office responsibilities:

  • Identifies and addresses operational gaps to ensure seamless business continuity and reliable support across all back-office functions.
  • Maintains compliance with IATF standards by overseeing risk analysis, documentation, and the consistent application of work instructions within the back-office team.
  • Leads the development and execution of cross-functional training initiatives to enhance team versatility and support organizational agility.
  • Monitors and reports on SIOP process KPIs, collaborating with key stakeholders to drive informed decision-making and performance improvements.
  • Continuous process improvements by streamlining back-office workflows and aligning practices with organizational goals and quality standards.

 

Who are you?

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a supply chain planning role.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or other STEM discipline, and/or equivalent working experience. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems is required, with a preference for SAP and/or JDE. Power Bi experience is a plus.
  • Team oriented in an international environment
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbal and in writing with a business fluency in English and Dutch
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
