Maintenance Technician
Who are we looking for?
What will you be doing?
As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

Perform routine and reactive maintenance: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems across the site.

Support equipment reliability: Conduct preventive maintenance and contribute to reliability improvement initiatives.

Respond to breakdowns: Provide timely and effective support to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity.

Assist with installations and upgrades: Support the commissioning of new equipment and modifications to existing systems.

Maintain documentation: Accurately record maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance checks.

Ensure safety and compliance: Follow all safety protocols, contribute to risk assessments, and ensure work is carried out in line with regulatory and company standards.

Collaborate with operations: Work closely with production teams to understand equipment performance and support operational goals.

What competencies will you need?

Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience, ideally in a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment.

Troubleshooting Ability: Skilled in diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions.

Preventive Maintenance Knowledge: Familiarity with maintenance schedules, condition monitoring, and reliability practices.

Safety & Compliance Awareness: Understanding of safety regulations, permit-to-work systems, and hazardous area protocols.

Documentation & Systems: Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and maintaining accurate records.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues, supervisors, and contractors.

Continuous Improvement Mindset: Willingness to contribute ideas and support initiatives to improve equipment performance and maintenance practices.

Qualifications: Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation disciplines.
