SEMICONDUCTOR SOLUTIONS
As a global supplier to the semiconductor industry, we provide advanced copper interconnects, die attachment, wafer bump processes and photomask technologies to our customers for integrated circuit fabrication and semiconductor packaging.
Who are we looking for?
This is a hybrid, customer-facing role having primarily Technical Business Development responsibilities, but combined with also having Account Management responsibilities. It supports our Wafer Level Packaging (WLP) Business unit, which is comprised of (2) Lines of Business: Advanced Integrated Metalization and Compound Semiconductor products.
What will you be doing?
- To provide technical and applications credibility during customer interactions that help support the ESI roadmap to revenue process and/or strategic account plans.
- As a hybrid role, this role will also include account management of selected WLP Regional Accounts in the West.
- The account management portion of the role is focused on achieving year-over-year revenue and margin growth targets as well as assigned account development goals and objectives.
- To serve as a technical bridge between the factory personnel (Business Unit Leaders, Engineering, Etc.) and the sales team in the West.
- To feedback customer insight back to the business from a technology perspective.
- To create, lead and execute on robust product trial plans with customers defining testing criteria and establishing how success will be measured
- To be the 1st line of defense in customer crisis management situations directly related to “line down” and/or technical customer complaints.
- To support the Strategic Account and Regional Account Managers to achieve year-over-year revenue and margin growth targets as well as assigned account development goals and objectives.
Who are You?
- Strong preference for at least 10 years of industry experience and at least 5 years of commercial (sales and / or marketing) experience at a materials / equipment company in the semiconductor industry or a closely related industry.
- Good network of relationships within the semiconductor wafer fabrication and/ packaging industry
- In-depth knowledge of customers' processes and how products are utilized.
- Excellent organization and management skills. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Must be willing to travel a minimum of 50 percent of the time.
What competencies will you need?
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to motivate customers, staff, and executives inside and outside the organization, through letters, presentations, and project proposals.
- Must have proven project management and scheduling skills.
- Must be experience in utilizing CRM Software to manage selling activities.
- Ability to prepare for emerging customer needs, manage multiple projects, determine project urgency in a meaningful and practical way; use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans, and organize and schedule people and tasks.
- Ability to use a win-win approach to resolve conflicts; stay objective and fair when dealing with sensitive situations; maintain constructive working relationships despite disagreement.
- Ability to take responsibility for actions and outcomes and persist despite obstacles; be available and demonstrate dependability in difficult circumstances
- Must have strong analytical and statistical skills for problem solving.
- Must have outstanding customer relations skills and be able to adapt to varying customer needs
- Must abide by all Company policies/procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations.
