Who are we looking for?
As a Logistics Manager you have the opportunity to plan, coordinate and optimize the company's national and international logistics operations, including the supply of raw materials, inventory management, warehousing, transportation and distribution, ensuring compliance with timelines, costs, regulations and quality standards, under the framework of the IMMEX program.
What will you be doing?
- Manage inbound and outbound material operations.
- Oversee compliance with customs, tax, and regulatory processes related to temporary and permanent imports.
- Coordinate with the production area regarding material availability and finished product delivery.
- Optimize warehouse utilization, layout, inventory turnover, and obsolescence control.
- Manage land, sea, and/or air transportation providers.
- Ensure compliance with foreign trade regulations and SAT, IMMEX, and AEO regulations.
- Implement strategies to reduce logistics costs and improve the supply chain.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics.
- Coordinate internal and external audits related to logistics and customs.
- Lead continuous improvement projects in logistics and supply chain management.
Who are You?
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics within the maquiladora industry.
- Solid knowledge of foreign trade, IMMEX, customs declarations, general regulations, and temporary import regimes.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and WMS.
- Ability to interpret customs and tax regulations applicable to the industry.
- Intermediate to advanced English.
