Who are we looking for?
As a Logistics Employee you have the opportunity to coordinate shipments of finished product to different customers, meeting the requirements of each of them, monitoring compliance with legal provisions and meeting the objectives of the department.
What will you be doing?
- Plans and coordinates daily international shipments, analyzing instructions, type of material and destination to ensure the best means of transportation and customs clearance for each order.
- Notifies customers in Mexico when their orders are ready for pickup, checking and reporting correct dimensions and weights to ensure orders are picked in a timely manner.Prepares and sends documents and instructions to the corresponding customs agents, coordinating and guaranteeing the clearance of goods to ensure that customer deliveries are not delayed.
- Reviews and approves payment of weekly consolidated export pedimentos in order to avoid errors that may be made by customs brokers.
- Prepares hazardous materials for air shipment, inspecting the packaging and labeling of the products, as well as examining the regulations and preparing the required documents for shipment, in order to ensure that the products are not retained or rejected at customs.
- Coordinates means of transportation, analyzing transit times, and best rate.
- Records freight cost in control file.
- Analyzes weekly the volume of pulp shipment to the United States in order to determine the feasibility of Igloo shipment.
- Sends "Advance Shipments Notice" to customers as required in order to meet their requirements.
- Follows up on air and ground shipments, ensuring that the different carriers deliver in a timely manner, in order to avoid customer complaints of late deliveries.
- Files digital customs files, keeping in the corresponding folders all files related to exports with RT keys.
- Reviews Customs Brokers expense account and carrier invoices validating the correct charge through the release of Vo.Bo.1.
- Sends daily report of orders not shipped, communicating the reasons why it was not possible to ship on time.
- Prepares letters of instructions and bills of lading, sharing with the carriers the pertinent data to the shipments, ensuring compliance with these documents
Who are You?
