Who are we looking for?

As an Engineer Process you have the opportunity to analyze the manufacturing processes of the different products manufactured in the plant, with the aim of making the operation of the processes more efficient and achieving compliance with the process and product specifications. and work directly with other internal teams including engineers and chemists, to complete projects in support of process and product development. 

What will you be doing?

• Coordinates the introduction of new products and processes in different areas within the organization.
• Ensures that product transfers in their pilot stage are manufacturable at a commercial scale.
• Analyzes existing processes, operating procedures, and machinery and equipment to propose improvements that reduce processing time and cost.
• Develops performance testing plans and takes action to optimize the degree of control over critical process variables, such as temperature, pressure, mixing time, extrusion speed, mixing speed, etc.
• Implements the directives of the Global Engineering group focused on improving the manufacturing process to reduce process variation and ensure optimal performance of products manufactured by Alpha Mexico.
• Develops improvement projects using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Provides support in the analysis of Quality or Process problems.
• Provides technical training to production areas.

Who are You?

• A bachelor’s degree required in a STEM field, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 3 year of experience, of relevant manufacturing experience
• IATF 16949 Lead Auditor (Preferred).
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Power BI or Excel. 
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
