Technical Specialist Anti Corrosion Coating

As a Technical Specialist Anti-Corrosion Coatings, you will bring deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving capabilities to support the development and optimization of advanced surface finishing applications. A strong background in electroplated Anti-Corrosion zinc and zinc-alloy based finishing process technology is required and will enable you to make an immediate impact in this role.
You will contribute to cross-functional innovation projects, applying your knowledge to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for industrial applications.

What will you be doing?
- Apply your Anti-Corrosion process expertise and practical experience to optimize, and support advanced surface finishing solutions.
- Design, execute, and analyze technical studies and trials, ensuring robust documentation of results and clear communication of findings to support project progress and decision-making.
- Identify technical challenges in real-world applications and develop practical, data-driven solutions. Where needed, translate unmet application needs into structured development opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring new solutions from concept through validation into industrial application, including supporting product testing and field implementation.
- Engage directly with further teams, customers and industry stakeholders to understand requirements, support qualification processes, and ensure successful adoption of new technologies.
- Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation and training materials to support knowledge transfer and enable effective use of technologies by internal and external stakeholders.
Who are You?
This role requires demonstrated, 5+ years of hands-on experience with electroplated anti-corrosion finishes based on zinc and zinc-alloy systems, which is essential for success in this position.

What competencies will you need?
- Technical degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or Physics strongly preferred. Five+ years of relevant experience working with electroplating Anti-Corrosion processes.
- Ability to work in pilot lines and large scale production environments at customers when needed.
- Functional spoken and written English. Multilingual capability is a major advantage.
- Good to excellent data analysis and presentation skills, with the ability to represent MacDermid Enthone positively and effectively through written and presented materials.
- Good to excellent PC skills, especially Microsoft Office products.
- Project management & intercultural cooperation skills
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and globally (travel may exceed 25% on occasion)
