Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a PDM Specialist, who will be responsible for continuous improvement, maintenance and ensuring the correct details of our product data and documents in the ERP system.
What will you be doing?
- Continuous maintenance, updating and optimization of our product data and documents in the existing systems and databases
- Checking recipes in accordance with occupational safety and production capability guidelines
- Creating new products and recipes in the ERP system
- Checking and supporting the implementation and documentation of product rationalizations
- Data management for raw materials
- Blocking and monitoring of blocked recipes in databases
- Interface for the exchange of product data information with internal and external parties, taking into account safety and environmental aspects and specifications
Who are You?
- Completed chemical training, ideally with subsequent further training as a chemical technician and/or comparable training or studies with initial professional experience
- Very good chemical knowledge of organics and inorganics
- Professional experience in the field of product data management or technical documentation
What competencies will you need?
- Knowledge of European transport legislation and dangerous goods classifications desirable
- Strong IT affinity and experience in working with ERP software (SAP/JD Edwards)
- Very good MS Office user skills, especially Excel
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Team-oriented, communicative and assertive
- Independent, analytical and solution-oriented way of working
