Who are we looking for?
This role is responsible for end-to-end supply and demand planning for operations with focus, including warehouse, transportation, and customer related activities across the region. The position encompasses day-to-day ownership of planning, inventory, logistics, and cross-functional coordination with key accounts and internal stakeholders.
This role reports functionally to the Customer Service and Demand Planning Manager, with strong alignment to the Regional Account Manager to ensure accurate demand reconciliation and execution. The Regional Demand Planner is accountable for delivering against key performance metrics (Service, Inventory, Cost) to ensure operational excellence across the region.
What will you be doing?
- Coordinate demand planning and logistics flows from manufacturing sites to regional distribution, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and service targets.
- Own the planning and replenishment process for materials, including PO creation, ensuring optimal supply continuity and alignment with regional demand signals.
- Manage inventory levels across the region, balancing service, working capital, and obsolescence risks while meeting targeted Days Inventory on Hand (DII).
- Oversee inbound logistics processes, including customs clearance for all materials, ensuring compliance and minimizing delays.
- Manage and continuously improve the ESMC consignment model, including issuance of Arrival Shipping Notifications (ASN), material returns, and overall inventory accuracy within consignment stock. Will participate in local meetings with ESMC stakeholders.
- Implement regional and global initiatives (e.g., best practices, quality improvements, and standardized systems) to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve critical stock-outs, late supply from manufacturing sites, and quality-related escalations.
- Act as the primary escalation point for key delivery issues, driving timely resolution and ensuring clear accountability across domestic and international stakeholders.
- Review forecast accuracy and collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Sales, Product Management, Finance, and planning teams to continuously improve demand signals.
- Develop and maintain regional backup structures to ensure continuity of operations during resource constraints including France and Italy.
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives across transportation, warehousing, planning, and quality, leveraging data analysis to drive decisions.
Who are You?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management, with 4 years of related experience.
- Desired background in Procurement, Customs process, and warehousing in Europe.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, as well as demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels. Proficient in German and English.
- Accomplished Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills. Experience with ERP system, knowledge of JDE is a plus
- Experience with Pareto and Root Cause Analysis.
- ISO9001 and ISO14001 knowledge and experience preferred
