MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries.  We primarily design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Our high-performance functional coatings improve resistance to wear and tear, such as hard chrome plating of shock absorbers for cars or provide corrosion resistance for appliance parts. Our decorative performance coatings apply finishes for parts in various end markets such as automotive interiors or jewelry surfaces. Job Purpose

This role is responsible for supporting and enhancing the current company IT Infrastrcuture and IT Service level. This includes, but not limited to data centers, WAN, LAN, telecom, service desk, servers, storage, network infrastructure (switches, routers, etc), desktop, virtualization, and application delivery platforms.

Job Responsibilities


  • To provide supports to end-users on IT hardware, software and network related issues.
  • Responsible for daily IT operation support including PC setup, software installation, patch deployment, IT inventory control, and backup operation.
  • Work closely with Level 1 Global Service Desk to ensure the smooth escalation of problems/incidents to Level 2. Provide timely response as per predefined SLAs and KPIs.
  • To manage/troubleshoot/resolve end user’s problems/incidents promptly following established procedures.
  • To assist in development of project plans, implementation timeline and deployment schedules in relation to IT projects.
  • Handle and dealing with IT Procurement with vendors.
  • Management of corporate IT assets, including hardware warranty, licenses and contracts.
  • To manage service providers in ensuring their services meet the agreed service standards.
  • Prioritizing workload to maintain optimal support efficiency.
  • To work on IT project and any other tasks as per assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications


  • Candidate must possess at least a NITEC/Diploma/Degree in IT related field.
  • 2-3 years of working experience in a large-scale enterprise environment providing Desktop Support to end users.
  • Fluent English and Chinese are essential.
  • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) experience – Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Fulfillment, and Change/Configuration Management.
  • Technical experience in supporting Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Server and networking is required.
  • Resourceful, strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willing to work in a fast –paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment.
