Who are we looking for?

The Account Manager maximizes existing business, develops account plans, and creates pipeline opportunities within existing or new accounts. This role will also inherit an important existing customer base as a foundation for revenue and growth. This person will drive value capture of unmet needs and attractive opportunities within an account and deploy a variety of strategies to grow revenue and expand margin.  This person will work closely with the regional business and functional teams and will manage the transactional business and nurture growth opportunities through our pipeline providing key inputs to product development. 

The role is focused on the Asia Region across automotive, circuitry board, health, radar and communications and other industries.

 

This person will be responsible for execution of account management to achieve the company’s annual revenue and margin growth goals for his/her accounts. Including: defining and executing the tactics to: (i) CREATE new opportunities and pipeline for future business growth, (ii) compete and WIN new opportunities to generate profitable new revenue growth, and (iii) defend and GROW our relationships and engagements to build profitable, sustainable, and predictable revenue growth. An experienced sales professional who continues to drive for the highest level of “Sales Excellence”.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage existing customers and agents for MCM
  • Develop account strategy and plan for own accounts that ensure attainment of sales goals and profitability.
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate target markets and create pipeline opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Report to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Build strong customer relationships, get trust by customers, identify new business opportunities at target accounts, and drive application development.
  • Develop account strategy and plan for own accounts
  • Visit customers to promote our products leading Business Unit, Application Development and Marketing to create pipelines and follow up projects/complaint cases.
  • Set up lead project meetings for own accounts.
  • Attend sales meeting.
  • Manage internal system for pipeline, forecast, pricing etc.
  • Share necessary business information with other functions appropriately/timely.

Who are You?

  • A bachelor’s degree, or higher in an engineering field like Chemistry, Electronics, Mechanics or equivalent with experience in business, sales, marketing, or related field.  An advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) is a plus.
  • 7 – 10 years of demonstrated sales account management experience, exceeding targets and objectives
  • Experience in selling advanced engineered materials (i.e. Solder, Thermal materials, PCB protections, Die Attached assembly & Adhesives) for Semiconductors, Consumer Electronics, EV and Power Module industry.
  • Track record in negotiating and crafting complex B2B deal structures
  • Strong experience with structured sales processes, sales performance metrics, sales analytics, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce.com
  • Willing to devote at least 50% or more of your time to traveling

What competencies will you need?

  • Sales skill along the sales revenue lifecycle: prospecting, qualifying, questioning, listening, proposing, presenting, closing etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, combined with good relationship and networking skills. 
  • Displays executive presence and excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • Good business acumen with an eye for detail and the skills to analyze and interpret data to solve day to day issues and problems
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Excellent conflict management to resolve collaboratively issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in development and execution of the account plan and take the full accountability to achieve the opportunity revenue target
  • Deep understanding of sales tools and technologies like CRM, sales enablement platforms, and other productivity tools. Competent in using one of the following Sales Methodologies is a major plus: RADAR from The Complex Sale, Strategic Selling, Target Account Selling, SPIN Selling, Solution Selling, etc.
  • Project, time, and conflict management
  • Proficient in English both verbally and written
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of tools.
