SEMICONDUCTOR SOLUTIONS

As a global supplier to the semiconductor industry, we provide advanced copper interconnects, die attachment, wafer bump processes and photomask technologies to our customers for integrated circuit fabrication and semiconductor packaging.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team in the semiconductor manufacturing sector. This role will be responsible for the Paste, Tacky Solder Flux (TSF), and Bond Pad departments. The ideal candidate will ensure product quality and process integrity throughout the production lifecycle. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain, to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with industry standards.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures in semiconductor fabrication and assembly.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, identify potential issues, drive root cause analysis and CAPA, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead failure analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design for manufacturability and quality.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
  • Manage quality documentation, including process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, control plans, and all other APQP-associated documents.
  • Interact with the commercial team, potential customers, and suppliers on quality-related issues and drive resolution.
  • Support qualification and validation of new processes, equipment, and materials.
  • Utilize statistical tools (PCS, SPC, DOE, Six Sigma) to proactively review in-process production (IPP) and outgoing quality control (OQC) parameters to drive continuous improvement to prevent potential defects from impacting our customers.

Who are You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within the semiconductor, electronics industry, or a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., wafer fabrication, packaging, testing).
  • Familiarity with quality standards and methodologies (ISO, SPC, PCS, PFD, FMEA, Control Plans, 8D, Six Sigma).
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Excel).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt are a plus.

Pay range for this role is $78,906 - $118,358 DOE and Education.
