SEMICONDUCTOR & ASSEMBLY SOLUTIONS (SAS)

Job Purpose

As an Intern with McDermid Alpha Electronic Solutions you will support the Quality Department with general Industrial Manufacturing operations and organizational tasks. In addition, you will work on various projects and initiatives that could impact the Business globally.

Specific Intern Duties & Responsibilities

  • Begin generating and providing a template for quality and engineering to continually review in-process production (IPP) data collection (i.e. data collected in sTIM, Paste, TSF, etc.)

  • Generate missing and update work instructions with respect to the processes performed by production (i.e. paste work instructions, metals traveler, etc.)

  • To implement best practices from MTY one task would be to compile and translate all MTY work instructions. Generate a cross reference list to determine if work instructions can be implemented at Itasca (with input from engineering, production, and quality)
